RM Load Indicator System
The capacity of the screw compressor is indicated by the position of a slide valve. In the older types of the compressors the mechanical system shows only minimum and maximum position of the slide valve. This system doesn’t inform when compressor operates on the part load. As you know, the part-load operation can be in some cases inefficient.
RM load indicator can solve this problem. RM Support can upgrade your system and make it ready for the use of PLC. In the most cases the PLC needs a standard load input of 4 till 20 mA.
Our solution will change the mechanical way into a stepless way and the LPT sensor will be used in pocket well. In this way the readout is exact and the sealing is improved.
The RM- indicator system is based on three modules that can be used alternatively or all together depending on the demands.
Service contractors and end-users experience the RM indicator module system as very flexible.
Linear Position transmitter (LPT-012)In this module we provide the modification of the compressor from a mechanical indicator system to a contact less system. The modification is complete with modified end cover, pocket well, transmitter, connection tube with connectors. The module can work with every PLC of controller system.
Read out module (SRM-013)With this module the position of the slide valve can be read-out locally. The Read out module can be placed in the machine room or on the end-cover of the compressor. Local information outside the controller room.
Input Signal Converter module (ISC-014)
To use the existing control system which works on the micro switch signals, this module uses the 4-20mA signal to switch the control system. At this moment the signal is similar to the micro switch output. With the Signal converter module (ISC-014) each switch moment can be used as NO or NC. The input is the same as the output like a micro switch. (Three switch moments is now standard)
The modification can be executed on site. To offer you the correct modification, we need the following information:
